This plaque features a large emblem of the United States Marine Corps. There is room at the bottom of this plaque for up to four lines of text on the 8x10 plaques, and up to five lines of text on the 12x15 plaques. On this plaque, I engraved the Marine's name on the first line and their dates of service on the second line. Other lines could include the Marine's Unit(s), MOS/Job Codes, Duty Station(s), Years Served, Date of Rank, etc.
Your plaque can be made from either Premium Red Alder or Premium Walnut wood, both are grown and manufactured in the USA! This plaque would be a great gift for a newly promoted or inducted NCO. It can also be given as a PCS Award, ETS Award, or Retirement Award, etc. It is keyholed on the back to be displayed vertically (as shown), or horizontally if you wanted to change the layout of the plaque.
